The Ghillie Dhu has a great bar downstairs, and if you go behind that bar there are little booths that have a window through to the bar! Flick the light on and yo can get service through your own wee window. If you venture upstairs there is a traditional scottish ceilidh, with dancing and a live band. Very good fun and only a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Fingers is not what you picture when you say "Piano Bar". Sticky floors, nowhere to put your jacket, very very busy, but what a fantastic singalong you get here! All the classics belted out fantastically by a man behind a piano, with everyone singing(/shouting) along. If you go after 10.30pm prepare to queue. Its very popular!

Right below the apartment is the Bike Smith. We often take visiting friends down to Greg to rent a bike for the day. If you follow Haymarket Yards (where the tram comes up) down you get to a bike path that goes all the way to Cramond or Leith. Greg and the gang can point you in the right direction. Its an old railway so very flat, easy riding.
