Pedion tou Areos
When staying in Athens, visiting Lycabettus Hill is a must! At only 10 mins walk you will be found on a hill full of pines. You can visit it early in the morning or at evening to admire the amazing view during the sunset of the whole city, Acropolis and the sea. For those who like climbing, don't forget to walk up on the top of the hill, in the small church of St. George. You have a feeling of flying over the city! There is a sympathetic cafeteria near the church where you can have a drink.

Wonderful view to the city and ruins of ancient and byzantine temples around. There is a kiosk where you can have lunch or cofee.
