Steps away from the apt, an awesome brewery. Tons of fantastic beer on tap, with great food to boot. Known for their bacon fat and parmesan popcorn, but there are lots of vegan options, too!

One of my fav. places in the city, less than a block away! For $7.50 you can enjoy a slice of pizza, shot of Jameson, and a 16oz PBR. Also: whiskey infused soft serve. Awesome atmosphere, great food!

My favorite taco joint in the neighborhood: Moran's! The food is great, cheap, and fast. They also have delicious (and gigantic) margaritas. :)

Quiet cafe, super close to the apt.! I work from here often, and the atmosphere is great. They also have a pretty fantastic breakfast bagel. :)

One of the most beloved and hip coffee shops in the neighborhood: New Wave! Lot's of comfy couches and space to work or read a book. They also brew Metropolis coffee, a city favorite!

This place is AMAZING. The best ice cream sundae you'll have in a tiny old fashioned ice cream shop, with buckets full of charm. They also serve food. You may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it!

My absolute favorite bar. Not too hip, not too divey, awesome prices. Cole and the rest of the bartenders are lovely. Live music with a separate bar space to escape noise. GREAT comedy on Wed. nights!
