Ok, this one is not really close but it's my favourite place for Gelato. Carapina does the best ice cream I have ever had ( and I love ice cream). If you decide to go try the seasonal flavours.

Traditional Florentine food prepared in an excellent manner. Ingredients are fresh, the atmosphere is very warm and the staff is friendly, informal yet very attentive and polite. Suggested at any time but my favourite is Sunday for lunch.

Ottimo fornaio e anche bistrò a pochi minuti a piedi dalla casa. Da provare la torta Pugi che se all'occhio sembra molto ricca al palato invece è dolcemente delicata.

A bar and tobacco shop but with the cool thing of being open every day until 1.00 am and private patio at the back, Great if you crave something and don't want to walk to far and on the weekend there is a DJ playing music for people between their 20s and 30s. Lunch in convenient and very good although don't expect anything too elaborate just a simple and genuine meal.

The most famous panoramic view of Florence. The house is at bottom of the hill where Piazzale Michelangelo is. It's a nice walk on a tree-line street, not steep, that takes roughly 25 minutes.
