Arverne is a great place to live, it is culturally diverse and a very bonded neighborhood everyone knows one another and supports. There are now many attractions which include the new boardwalk, various restaurants, and the new bike lane introduced to us after Storm Sandy.

Very polite and friendly staff who walked me through every process, from loading the washing machines to getting a new laundry card. Prices are fair, and the wash and dry are very efficient!

Beaches are open along the Rockaway Peninsula from Beach 9th Street in Far Rockaway to Beach 149th Street in Neponsit.
You can get to Rockaway Beach a few different ways, including the train, bus, ferry, and Long Island Rail Road. Plus, the extended Rockaway Park Shuttle service is back with more cars for beach season!
