What to visit

Donatus is mentioned in Frankish annals from 805 as an ambassador of the Dalmatian cities to Charlemagne in Thionville. Donatus is credited for initiating either construction or expansion of the Church of the Holy Trinity. The church was completed in the beginning of the 9th century and in the 15th century. Its name was later changed by the Venetians to the Church of St. Donatus.

Skradinski buk and Roški slap waterfalls are open for visitors again. Until further notice, boats from Skradin are not sailing and the entrance at Skradin bridge is closed. We thank you for your understanding. Due to high water level, boat excursions are currently not available. 2022, the Lozovac – Skradinski buk waterfall hiking trail will be under renovation work until May 2023.
