Beautiful island. You can travel to Hvar by ferry or catamaran from Split ferry port.
By catamaran you can visit beautiful city Hvar and visit Španjola fortice, old cathedral on the main city square, famous Carpe diem club, lot of charming restaurants in old city and lot of beach bars.
From city port you can take taxi boats and visit famous Paklinski islands, wonderful beaches on Sveti Klement, Marinkovac, Palmižana etc...
Ferry takes you to Starigrad, charm old city with lot of nearby restaurants with local food (Dol, nearby village).
Also, by ferry (Split-Bol-Jelsa) you can visit Jelsa from where you can go to Sveta nedjelja or Zavala (spectacular beaches) on the south side of island.
