Everything Else
If you're a runner, my typical route is down 7th street, take a right down East Capitol, run around the Capitol (and the mall depending on how many miles you want to do), around Lincoln Park, and then back home. That's about 5 miles. You can cut it down to three miles if you run down 6th, right on East Capitol, around the Capitol and back home the same way.

First Street SoutheastIf you're a runner, my typical route is down 7th street, take a right down East Capitol, run around the Capitol (and the mall depending on how many miles you want to do), around Lincoln Park, and then back home. That's about 5 miles. You can cut it down to three miles if you run down 6th, right on East Capitol, around the Capitol and back home the same way.
Getting Around
Red Line at Union Station. It's less than ten minutes from home. Capitol Bikeshare is also here, but there are plenty others even closer to home.
