Rabun Bald from Beegum Gap Trailhead is a fun intermediate hike, 1.6 miles one way/to the top, fairly gently slope, though a couple places are more challenging with an incredible view at the top of the tower for just over 3 miles round-trip!

City/town information
Clayton is such a fun city to spend an afternoon/evening in. Their downtown is charming and offers some great shopping--make sure to pop in to Wander North Georgia, Blue Ridge Toy Shop, Praters Antiques and Dogwoods. Currahee Brewing Company is a fun, family/group friendly environment to relax and enjoy some beers and play some of their provided board games. For meals, we love Fortify Pie (The Newton!), Grapes & Beans Cafe (the whipped feta appetizer is sooo good), or Universal Joint for some bar food and fun atmosphere.
