Hiking
Great trail! Trail doesn’t loop. When tried of hiking, turn around and go back the way you came. We like the trail entrance on Hwy 41 about 6 miles north from Oakhurst towards Yosemite.

Nelder Grove is a little difficult to get to, but worth the trip. Beautiful old forest and great for hiking. The nature center is about 1/2 mile up a dirt bumpy road, but it’s not too bad. If you’re concerned about driving up to the center, just park at the entrance gates and walk up.
