One of the National Parks throughout the country, this would be about a fifteen minute car ride. You can stay on the public side or even get a day pass for the drive on zone! You can see the famous Assteague Island Horses and all sorts of indiginous plant and animal life. Surf fishing is also allowed at certain times and there is a touch tank at the Visitors Center.
