Below I have selected some of our favorite places within 1 hour of the property. Some are world famous (Acadia National Park), and others, you can only find amongst the tourist clutter with the help of a local. There are so many incredible places to explore in Maine, most for "free", minus gas expense. It would truly take a lifetime to explore all this wonderful state has to offer!

Less than a couple minutes up the road from us is the luxury of a fresh, small family-run dairy. Farm stand honor system open dawn to dusk 7 days a week. If you've never had milk "milked" that day, please do experience it! It's life-changing!
