a magnificent view of Bergen and its surrounding
islands and fjords. There are many paths that go
around the mountain with fantastic landscape and
small lakes! During the summer, the restaurant on
top of Mount Floyen is open daily. The kiosk and
souvenir shop is open all year. To get there you can
hike or take the funicular from the station, which is
situated just 150 meters from the Fish Market.

There are several nice beaches on Lysøen island but the temperature of the water is not for the faint hearted. You can get to Buena kai by bus or car, and a ferry brings you across the fjord to Lysøen.
