Voted “best place to get a steak” for 20+ years (opened in 1966) It’s a little dated, but that’s part of its charm :) It’s the closest restaurant walking distance…10 minutes tops. If you head West towards the mountains, you’ll see it as soon as you get near downtown, on your left… you can enter through the back/bar entrance to get the whole experience… big sign that’s says “Rear of the Steer”, you can’t miss it lol.

Very hip, small restaurant - modern American w/ trendy cocktails and only a 10 minute walk from the house. They close early sometimes so check Google on that.

Henry’s is Loveland’s most popular restaurant (locally owned)… mostly American and a little Irish. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from the house.

Best park in Loveland! In addition to great park equipment, there’s a water feature for the kids to play in. And a gorgeous, walking trail along the river. There’s often festivals here during the summer.

Big, beautiful lake, and only a five minute drive from the house. They rent out paddle boards, peddle boats, kayaks, jet skis, etc… or just hang out on the beach for the day! You do have to pay to get in.

Beautiful lake in the middle of town, great walking trail around it. There’s a swim beach for the kids. And a really cool park (Canon Ball park) right across the street.

So much fun in the winter!! a bunch of small runs where kids can learn to ski or snowboard. Plus an epic sledding hill. It would be a 20 minute drive from the house.

It’s a pretty basic rec center, but only a five minute walk from the house. There’s an indoor and outdoor hot tub and all the other standard rec center features. The library is right nearby as well.

Pizza Places
Origins downtown is a nice sit down pizza place. But the best rated pizza places in town is Arte’s (more Ny style) or Blocky’s (more Chicago style)… But neither one of those deliver and it’s a 10-15 minute drive. Or there’s always Dominos for easy delivery.
