Opens 7 am Mon-Fri. and 8 am on weekends. Beautifully created pastries and great espresso, just a block south of us on Jaeger and Thurman. Favorite: their egg sandwich with arugula served on buttery ciabatta!

Bakery items worth it in every way. You can't go wrong with this locally owned and operated shop. Finely trained pastry chefs run a tight ship here, so stop in and sample their great fare. Favorite: Canales, carmelized on the outside, delicate and light on the inside, best with a double Americano.

If you have time for only one dinner in the downtown area, this is the place, so look no further. Call ahead and make a reservation, or show up to the bar for happy hour. Beautiful food, generally all-around a great local experience. Worth the time and money for the experience, everytime. This is our favorite restaurant in the city, as it is for many. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Go across the park, walk up Mohawk Street to Beck, and you won't miss it.
