Rose Cottage is in the unincorporated old mining town of Salina. It features the Little Church in the Pines, now used as a community gathering place, and the Schoolhouse, constructed in the 19th century. The Schoolhouse is used for gatherings, including yoga classes.

Boulder is home to the University of Colorado as well as many software companies. Multi-use trails, especially in the north-south direction feature biking and walking. Boulder is surrounded by green space with hiking and biking trails as well. Top rated restaurants are too numerous to mention, but some of our favorites are the Chautauqua Dining Hall, the Kitchen, Hapa, Walnut Cafe, Riff's, Murphy's Pub. It is a beautiful city at 5400 feet in elevation, offering mountain views. Numerous hiking trails are accessible for day hikes, including those on Rocky Mountain National Park.
