Looking out of the window at Signal House part of Signal House Coastal Retreats, you can see Coquet Island. Take a boat trip around Coquet Island with Puffin cruises (see below for more information). This landmark Island is protected by the RSPB, lots of Puffins and wildlife live on the Island. The Puffins start arriving in March ahead of the Puffin festival held in Amble.

Amble Puffin Festival - 4-5 June 22
The main festival takes place on Sat 4 and Sun 5 June, with many fringe events during the half term holiday.
Visitors to the festival will see the usual crafts, talks, walks, children’s amusements, stalls, workshops, and live music, but this year boasts the addition of worldwide performers including stilt walkers, aerial dancers and cheeky giant seagulls to entertain the crowds.
