Sightseeing
We've made this 2.6-mile hike with our 6 and 4 years old (with only minor complaining ;) ) But this is one of the best waterfalls in the park and only a short 10 minutes drive from the Chalet.

Clubhouse Pools
The closest clubhouse pool is the south clubhouse which is at the end of South Baden Dr at 1319 South Baden Drive. It's a great pool and very close to the chalet.

For an elevated pool experience, drive an extra 5 minutes to the new North clubhouse pool. Recently rebuilt after the 2016 wildfires, this pool is beautiful with great mountain views.

Pick up food before driving up the mountain.
There is a small market (Chalet Village Market) that sells the everyday basics (and some decent pizza). For more grocery selection without paying slightly more, stop at the Food City in either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg first.

Toys!!!
After a long drive, make sure to direct your kids to the toys under the TV and stairs. This has proven most valuable when unpacking the car after a long drive.
