Slow the pace of life down for an afternoon and enjoy a Horse Drawn Canal Barge trip - or perhaps take a walk along the towpath. In one direction head for the Chainbridge Hotel and Horseshoe Falls: or if you are feeling more energetic go towards Pontcysyllte Aqueduct - but you’ll need a head for heights if you plan to cross this 200 year old ‘walkway in the Sky’.

Just a 45 minute hike to the summit from Llangollen Townhouse - it looks further than it is! Views are just spectacular and you will certainly have earned your coffee or cool beer at one of the many cafes and bars in Llangollen on your descent,
