Set in a beautiful location it is my favourite seafood restaurant on the island ( They also cater for non seafood lovers).

in our opinion the best winery on the island but of course that is all down to tase. So why not take a drive out to Kathikas (which is also worth a visit, as it is a preserved village) daily wine tasting experiences with varieties to suit all. The wine is kept in caves.

Kakopetria is always worth a trip. an abundance of tavernas all serving fresh trout. But our recommendation is the Old Mill ( you may need to book) followed by a stroll up along the stream and rock pools and back down via the Old Village with its traditional mountain houses and twisty lanes.

The Caledonia Falls. ( at a height of 12 meters Voted one the best falls in Europe) there is an easily negotiated walking trail that takes this in.

Festivals
In March Arakapas is host to the Mandarin Festival and in the week of 8th September the village once again opens its square for the religious festival of the Virgin Mary centered around Panagia Iamatiki. with colourful craft stalls and dancing. Be advised music and fireworks can go on quite late, if you want to avoid these periods.
