Food scene
This is the best restaurant in the Gorge and one of the only ones with table service. Dario Ventura and staff use quality ingredients and make good food. Also great cocktails! Its not cheap, but the food is worth the money. They sometimes have live music. The location is remote... you will really wonder if there is actually a restaurant at the end of this dirt road. But I assure you, there is! And its worth the drive. Check hours though. They are only open weekends primarily. Thursday thru Sunday at the moment, but hours change.

Rockhouse provides good quality food. They have burgers with locally sourced beef, burritos, salads and a good beer selection. It is counter service in a bit of a hipster environment. Not very good for groups as seating can be limited during busy times.

This is a must visit! The Reptile Zoo is a world class institution... they extract venom from hundreds of snakes every week and ship it all over the world. It's a hidden gem of the area.

This tunnel is the gateway to the Gorge, and you really should see it while you are here! You can do some great hikes from the Martin's Fork trailhead a couple of miles past the tunnel.
