I recommend the lake for walkers/bikers because of the 3-mile trail surrounding the lake. There is also a small beach side with sand and a small fishing side as well; so bring your rods. Side note: Texas gets REALLY HOT, therefore, the water dries up a lot in the summer and is replenished throughout the other three seasons.
