From Maricopa you can go south to Tubac and enjoy this quaint little town with all kinds of great food and artisians. Be sure to stop in Tuscon along the way....
Go North to Prescott and Sedona to see the magnificent landscapes, rock formations and the variety of cactus along the way!
Go East to the gorgeous mountain towns of Payson, Heber Overgarrd, and Snowflake!
