One great place to stop along your drive in the Cherokee National Forest is the Ocoee White Water Center. This place is very well known for hosting white water rafting for the 1996 Olympics. This is a great place to stop and take pictures with the Olympic bridge that crosses over the river.

This place counts as both sightseeing and a great food scene! This is an Amish and Mennonite community where you can purchase their vegetable and herb produce. Once a month they also host an animal market where you can buy all sorts of farm animals. TIP: visit in the morning, they sell out very quickly.

This place is rich with historical background involving the Cherokee Native Americans. There are many natural springs here and you can learn about how the Cherokee viewed and used these springs in their rituals. Make sure to look for the Blue Hole Spring!
