Pubs and canoe hire in the lower part and viewing spot from the top with cafe. Would recommend parking at the top and walking down for a coffee/lunch, to avoid the crammed roads and crowds.

A secret cafe/ice cream. Walk from Symonds Yatt car park untill you come to the wobbly rope bridge- then cross to the cafe and back along the other side of the river, to cross at the man pulled ferry boat.

A lesser known lake to avoid the crowds. Much quieter and more peaceful close to Cinderford. Also near car park is the large stained glass window hanging from the trees- part of the sculture trail.
