Naturpark Amager omfatter Kalvebod og Amager Fælled, Kongelunden og kysten fra Kongelunden til Dragør. I alt er parken på 3000 hektar. Til sammenligning er Central Park 350 hektar.
Fremadrettet vil alle arealerne blive udviklet i fællesskab for at sikre naturens udvikling og skabe nye rum for friluftsliv.
