Take a trip up the shore to see the beautiful FALLs at Gooseberry Falls State Park. There are ample hiking trails on which you can head upstream to view upper falls or down the trail to end up on the shore of Lake Superior. Great bird and mammal watching!

You don't want to miss the Lakeshore near the Lighthouse. You can walk out onto the breakwater to the small lighthouse at the end. There are trails in both directions from there.
