Our Peekaboo Slot Canyon Tour takes you through some of the most unique and breathtaking terrain in Southern Utah. See pink sand, glimpses of the Grand Staircase, and end up in the beautiful, but well hidden, Peekaboo Slot Canyon. This beautiful isolated narrow slot canyon is a favorite of the locals. Peekaboo’s secret location is tucked away in the high desert and visited only by those with knowledge of its location. Our tour, and team of guides, give you plenty of time to hike, explore, take pictures, and enjoy the unique shapes of the canyon and surroundings without the pressure of crowds. The tour leaves from the trailhead parking lot approximately 9 miles north of Kanab. We have the option of a normal 4x4 vehicle or UTV's. We have a team of guides who are very experienced and knowledgeable of our beautiful area. Any one of of our guides: Tyler, Brent, and Brinley are excellent in skill and very devoted to our beautiful outdoors. NOTE: Expect easy light hiking. This tour is suitable for all ages. Total hiking distance is close to one mile. Approximate Tour Duration: Approximately 2 hours Other things to note Bring good walking shoes, hat, and sunscreen. The canyon is a dry riverbed no water. Start the day with a spectacular eight-mile drive to our family ranch at the top of Smith's Mesa on the way to Zion National Park. Make sure to allocate some time to stop at a few lookouts to appreciate the awe-inspiring panoramas and breathtaking views. Upon arrival at the ranch, we will introduce you to our horses and teach you the basics of mounting, dismounting, and riding. You will have the opportunity to have a guide lead you around on your horse while we work together to assess your level of confidence and ability. Once everyone is confident enough to venture out on a trail we will embark on a picturesque journey on the back of a horse for a truly unique and one-of-a-kind experience.

First you’ll buckle up—we’ll pick you up in a UTV and start the adventure well before you canyoneer through the canyons. Then you’ll buckle in—once we arrive on the east side of Zion, you’ll learn how to safely rappel these secret slots with a licensed team of guides there to hold your rope (and your hand). With private access to the slots, you’ll get to hike, canyoneer, and rappel the world in between. Bring your camera so you can capture all your Indiana Jones-style adventure. Our group sizes remain small unless you book one large group altogether:-) Other things to note Bring your camera, hiking clothes and boots, snacks, and water, and we will take care of the rest! On this unique, adventurous experience you will get a a birds eye view of The Great Salt Lake that puts into perspective the scale and beauty of this top Utah attraction. What would take a full day to see by car, we will squeeze into an action packed 40 minute flight. The GSL is an iconic landmark and you will see views that have been constantly evolving since it’s creation during the Bonneville flood over 14,500 years ago! One of the benefits of visiting the lake by air is we have no negative ecological impact. The sensitive eco-system is able to grow and evolve as if we were never there. You will see many of the animals that call the Great Salt Lake home such as antelope, buffalo, deer, coyote, and even eagles. Upon meeting at the airport I will escort you to our trusty steed, a vintage Cessna Bush-plane straight out of Alaska. The airplane we will be using is one of the greatest tools for exploring the local area and you are guaranteed a flight you will never forget. After a quick safety briefing we will get in the plane, buckle up, and begin our adventure. Half of the flight will be up high with expansive views, and the other half will be "low and slow" where you will feel like we are in a flying car. With four seats there is room for the pilot and three passengers each flight.

This tour combines two of Southern Utah's most popular activities: exploring scenic slot canyons and horseback riding. First we will climb into the saddle at the stables and conduct a brief riding lesson for the inexperienced riders. No need to worry if you are a beginner, we have years of experience and reserve the best trained horses for our guests. Our ride will take us to the mouth of a beautiful slot canyon where we will dismount and walk a short distance into the canyon. This incredible sandstone formation is very narrow with walls towering several hundred feet high on either side. East Zion is the home to world class slot canyons that can be found nowhere else! Following this stop, riders will again get in the saddle and ride back to the starting point. You will be led by a local guide with years of horse riding experience that will also share the rich cowboy history of small town Orderville that continues to live on today. Did you know cattle have excellent memories? Like elephants...they never forget! Our Miniature Highland Cattle are a very sweet, calm breed of cows who are easy to handle and amazingly cute! Learn more animal facts as you feed and learn basic care and grooming of these hairy coo’s! The tour is aprox 90 min at The Grand Ranch, Our family farm in Kanarraville, Utah. You’ll meet our Miniature farm animals; cows, alpaca, goats, sheep, pigs and donkeys! Pet and brush our beautiful mini highland cows! If you’re lucky our shy alpaca will pop over to say "Hi!” Maybe you’ll even get an alpaca kiss! The 3 new baby cows will NOT let you forget about them! Bottle feed and brush our tiny new additions. You'll jump into one of our off-road vehicles to hit the sandy Southern Utah trails. We'll take you to the hidden Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon where, as we hike through, we'll tell you about the ancient and modern history of the area. We will also go over the geological background of the area that makes the formations we see on the trail possible. From the Peek-a-boo Slot Canyon we'll jump back into our off-road vehicles, drive down a dry river bed and through the Kanab Creek. This trail will take us to the magnificent Great Chamber, a large cavern carved into the side of the beautiful white cliffs of the Grand Staircase National Monument. We will hike up the sandy hill and into the Great Chamber where you will see a fantastic view of the national monument and witness the massive sand dune inside the chamber. After our time there will jump back into our off-road vehicles and complete the loop by driving through the historic Kanab Canyon where John Wayne and Clint Eastwood filmed some of their most iconic westerns. (Your host will typically drive, if you want to drive and follow behind the guide please message us privately with your request, you will responsible for a security deposit on the vehicles and you will need to sign waivers before we leave!) In this 1-hour photoshoot, you'll create and capture stunning memories that are inspired by your adventurous spirit, embody your authentic personality, and integrate the amazing scenery of Utah's magical landscapes. 1-2 sneak peek photos will be delivered to you SAME DAY! Then 10-15 professionally edited photos will be delivered to you within 1 week (additional edits upon request). We will meet at the parking lot at the mouth of Utah's iconic Big Cottonwood Canyon, and I will lead you to our perfect picturesque photo location picked specially for you. This is not only a great opportunity for you to have some amazing professional photos taken, you'll also be benefitting from my local knowledge about photoshoot locations, as well as many other recommendations for food and activities in the city! This class teaches you how to create your own set of THREE sterling silver stacking rings, one adorned with a stone of your choosing! First, create a sterling silver piece with a bezel set stone and learn how to use the tools and a jeweler's torch. Then, select a cabochon stone from our large selection to customize your jewelry. We provide all the tools, equipment, materials, and stones... we have everything you need! The experience takes 2-3 hours, depending on class size. Other things to note: Remember your glasses if needed, bring a water bottle, and please tie your long hair back.

This is a hands-on class where guests will be taking metal and shaping it into jewelry. I’ll provide enough silver and/or copper for each guest to make a ring or a set of earrings. We’ll spend a short time going over safety and then you’ll have to decide what you want to make. I’ll provide examples of already made jewelry to use as templates if guests need ideas. By the end of the session each guest will have a piece of handmade jewelry to take home with them. Some date night couples like to make rings for each other instead of making jewelry for themselves. Other things to note Bring your eyeglasses. Come prepared to get your hands dirty and dress appropriately.

Have you ever driven past the beautiful mountains in Cache Valley on your way to Yellowstone National Park and had a burning desire to explore them. I'm not talking about a drive up the canyon, I am talking about really exploring the mountains. I will take you on your own personal four-wheeler ATV on a mountain trail. We will meet at one of the many trailheads. From there we will have a brief safety instruction session and some practice driving on the four-wheelers. We then head up the trail, each person on their own four-wheeler. I will lead the group along the trail, stopping along the way to take breathtaking photos of Mountain views, fields of wildflowers, and wildlife. We will enjoy a light snack and drinks and may even play in the snow drifts depending what time of year it is. When you are ready we will head back down the trail to our vehicle. People who have taken this tour in the past who are from outside the area leave with a sense of awe and with a connection to the mountain that you can't get any other way. As with any expedition into the mountains there is often times challenges and the group will grow together. We do everything in our power to keep these tours safe and fun. Keep in mind that 4-wheeling can be a dangerous activity.

Powder mountain is confusing, I can help guide you around the mountain. I can show you the secret hidden spots that only the locals know about. Even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days we will still find fresh powder to ski. I have been skiing since before I could walk and can tour you on whatever level of skier you are. I usually stay at the Columbine inn located in the timberline parking lot, we can meet in front of it. We also have ski in ski out condos available.
