We would like to welcome you to Craigrowan Croft where we have a charming 2 bedroom self-catering cottage called An Sean Tigh (The Old House). It has one double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with separate bath and shower and a lovely kitchen / dining / living area. It benefits from under floor heating throughout and a cosy multifuel stove to cuddle up in front of. It is only a 5 minute walk to the local shops and a 10 minute walk to 3 lovely restaurants and a cosy pub.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, an electric oven and ceramic hob, a dishwasher and all the usual cookware. In the small extension out the back there is a washer / drier washing machine, an iron and ironing board. Out the back there is a small raised back garden with a rotary washing line, small charcoal barbeque and a table and chairs. The cottage has fibre broadband. If you have young children we have a range of accessories available to save you valuable packing space in the car! These include an off road pram, a buggy, a travel cot and booster seats for toddlers to sit on at the dinner table. For a small reasonable charge there is access to a bike trailer and child’s bikes seat attachment. There is ample free parking around the cottage. Our family love animals, nature and the great outdoors. We have recently taken ownership of the croft with a view to change our lifestyle; to allow our family to experience nature at its best in the beautiful area of Strontian. We are still in the very early stages of returning it to a working croft but so far we have three very friendly lambs, which we have had the pleasure of bottle-feeding which can be very entertaining! Hens will be joining us very soon and look forward to enjoying fresh free-range eggs straight from the croft! Its not just livestock that we have been busy with, we are also working on our kitchen garden, which we are hoping will be fruitful in the coming months. The croft is made up of fifteen acres, five of which was recently planted with a mixture of native trees. The rest is made up mostly of rough grazing, some mature trees, a huge variety of wild flowers, mosses and lichens and there are also regular visits from a range of wildlife including red deer and birds of prey. There are spectacular views over the surrounding hills, valley and loch after an invigorating climb up the croft! From the croft you can access a lovely local woodland walk (Phemies Walk), which has a spectacular view out over Loch Sunart.
Strontian and the surrounding area is a treat for those who love the great outdoors with many walks from leisurely strolls to invigorating hill climbs. There are tracks that can be used by mountain bikers or miles of quiet single-track road with stunning views for those that prefer the road bikes. There are companies based locally who provide kayak tours on Loch Sunart, walking and scrambling expeditions and guided biking tours. There is a large variety of wildlife and there is a great wildlife hide with views of Garbh Eilean (the Rough Island) which can be found in the woods on the side of Loch Sunart just a short drive away. Common seals are often seen basking on the rocks here and there is a heronry on the smaller island beside it.

Our home is on a quiet side road and only 3 miles from Craignure ferry terminal. It is a great spot from which to explore the rest of the island, being less than an hour's drive to Fionnphort in the south and about the same to Tobermory in the north. This large room has fantastic south-facing sea views, ideal for bird and wildlife watchers, a luxury memory foam double bed, two comfy easy chairs, flat-screen TV and a spacious en suite shower room. There is also a hospitality tray.
We provide a continental breakfast, served in our lovely bright dining room with views across the bay. All the jams and bread are homemade. There is a wide choice of dried fruits, nuts, seeds, milks and Fair Trade teas. Fresh fruit and berries are also available. We can offer a variety of 'free from' products - please ask us about any dietary requirements. Guests are welcome to use the patio area to the front of the house, however the rest of the garden is private. This is a pet-free home.
Lochdon is very centrally situated for exploring the whole of the island. Wildlife is abundant and we have noted over 100 different varieties of bird just from our croft! For eating out nearby you've got the The Isle of Mull Hotel, Pennygate Lodge and the Craignure Inn only 3 miles away. Across the rest of the island you'll find plenty other options too. There is a lovely swimming pool, open to the public, in the Isle of Mull Hotel.

The Hide self-catering studio is a glorious little haven of peace and tranquillity on the Isle of Mull. The perfect setting for a romantic couples' holiday. Centrally located for ease of access for the whole island. Sorry we don't have facilities for children or babies and as we have our own dogs we cannot accept pets.
Despite its bijou size (29m sq) it has a small but well-equipped kitchen, comfy leather armchairs with the most spectacular view from the 3m wide patio windows and a king-sized ottoman bed, all within one open-plan space. The en-suite bathroom has a large walk-in shower and modern bathroom suite. The boot room/porch is at the rear of the studio. The Hide is accessed via steps from its own parking space (making it unsuitable for disabled access) with private decking to the front and side, and is fenced off from the owners' property to give full seclusion for our guests. We are sorry but The Hide is pet free and has no facilities for children or babies.
We are tucked away off the main route through the isle of Mull, surrounded by wonderful countryside. The Hide looks out onto the Isle of Mulls' only Corbet Dun da Ghoethe. Spectacular scenery and great walking

Ég get mælt með dvöl á The Nest.

Welcome to a traditional Highland cottage overlooking the village green, by the shore of Loch Sunart one of Scotland's most beautiful fjord-like sea lochs. The accommodation is ideally suited for exploring the amazing Ardnamurchan peninsula. Perfect for cyclists, wildlife watching, hill walking and angling. For the dedicated wildlife or birdwatcher the winter months offer the opportunity to get much closer to otters, seals, red deer and eagles as these residents are less wary in winter.
The lounge has a library housing a wide variety of books for both adults and children to be enjoyed in front of a log fire. There are also board games and music available for inclement weather. For cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts wet gear can be hung up in the greenhouse to dry. A BBQ is situated at the rear of the property for guests' use.
Situated in the ancient Atlantic oak forest, with a wealth of wildlife including sea eagles, golden eagles, red deer, otters and feral goats, it is also one of the few remaining strongholds of the elusive Scottish wildcat. Trout fishing in the Ardnamurchan hill lochs can be arranged by the proprietor, as can wildlife watching and fossil hunting. Kayaking is also available locally which enables enthusiastic and fit people to view marine life such as seals, otters and sea birds up close.

This is a newly renovated shore side cottage at Laga Bay looking onto Loch Sunart from south facing windows. The house is fully modernised with 3 bedrooms , a shower room , bathroom , 2 sitting rooms and kitchen . Electricity is from farm hydro power and there are 2 wood stoves and a supply of wood. It is well located to explore Ardnamurchan peninsula and for wildlife including red and roe deer , otters , eagles and pine martin. For more information our website west of the rat race describes .
The farm house was completely renovated over the last few years , finished in spring 2019 to create a modern , warm house immediately by the sea. There is ample space with two sitting areas, one a cozy room where the tv and dvd with large selection of films is located and a bigger bright room with a wooden floor . The views from all windows are spectacular and you can just sit looking out to sea or up to the mountain behind. Both lounges have wood fuelled stoves and a supply of fuel. The 3 bedrooms are freshly decorated and modern and the kitchen is new and well equipped with oven, hob, dish washer , full size freezer , fridge and microwave. The house is ideal for 2 couples to share but yet have own separate space . It is also good for a family holiday for either young children or teenagers. Whilst the house is listed as three double beds , the king size can be split into two singles and the small double bed could accommodate two but ideally suited to just one person as the room is smaller. The property can accommodate 6 , but it is better suited to 5 for the most relaxing time as one of the bedrooms is fairly small and has a small double bed. The other two are large and well suited to two people .
This is a very rural location, some 40 miles from Fort William on the Ardnamurchan peninsula . It is good location to explore the area as well as easy access to Tobermory on the Kilchoan ferry link. The main attractions of Laga Bay are getting away from it all, walking , watching wildlife . It is an ideal location for kayaking and easy to launch from just in front of the house. There is safe storage for kayaks inside the farm buildings . The area has beautiful beaches , walks in oak and mixed broadleaved woodland , open hill and lochs . There are several cafes , pubs and excellent restaurants in adjacent communities, the nearest being 4 miles away at Salen.

The Bunkhouse is right at the heart of Ardtornish Estate, on the Estate Courtyard close to the Information Centre, and offers a rustic accommodation option for those travelling on a budget. The bunkhouse was completely refurbished in 2008, and while from the outside, the corrugated iron building looks like a functional place to stay, the inside is surprisingly cosy with multi-fuel stoves and wood-lined walls. Unlike our other properties, which generally rent by the week during the high season, the bunkhouse is available to rent by night, choose a private room or the whole place. The bunkhouse consists of three bunk bedrooms, a large and bright sitting/dining room, a kitchen with a six-ring gas cooker and two ovens, a large fridge freezer and a washing machine with tumble dryer. There is a shower room with WC and an additional WC. The bunkhouse has a flat screen television with ‘freesat’, free wi-fi internet access & multi fuel stove.
