Stroll on the pier with its arts and crafts stalls at weekends, old fashion amusement arcades, a fab old time bingo hall, original bandstand with lots of events in summer. The perfect spot for a romantic break. Historic Canterbury (7 miles) and the charming town of Whitstable (4 miles) is a short drive or bus journey away. There is a cycle path on the seafront that will take you to Whitstable one direction and Margate, Broadstairs and beyond the other. The station serves all of the Kent coast, Whitstable - 7 mins - Margate - 15 mins - Broadstairs and its sandy beaches - 20 mins. London Victoria and London St Pancras International easily reached in 1 hour and 20 mins approx. Note: A minimum 2 night stay applies all year round.
