Escape to Walnut Creek Retreat, a rustic western cottage-chic guest house nestled on our 7.5 private acres between Boyd and Decatur. Thoughtfully renovated with vintage charm and thrifted gems, it offers cozy, curated comfort just behind our main home. Sip coffee on the porch, breathe in the fresh country air, and unwind. Whether you’re seeking rest or attending NRS events, this peaceful hideaway is your perfect place to relax and recharge. Country life may bring bugs, mice, or scorpions nearby.

The Nut House

The Nut House is a one of a kind large Acorn suspended up amongst the trees. While staying in the worlds largest acorn you will be fully immersed in nature. You can sit on the porch and listen to the sounds of the birds and see clear creek flowing by. You will have a once in a lifetime getaway only min away from downtown Denton in one of the top 100 OMG Airbnb winners. You will have a private 15 acres of land to explore with a lot of space for outdoor activities. (ie:fishing, hiking, campfires)

Rustic Farm House Charm - Short Drive to Ft. Worth

My wife, Kelly, and I are proud to own (and co-host) this charming, spacious property that we just completely renovated in 2025. In the old grainhouse behind the old mill, “The Farm House Suite”, one of two separate suites (in a building similar to a duplex), has a big living room with nine foot ceilings, kitchen (with Toshiba countertop oven, fridge, microwave, Keurig, dishwasher) and a good sized bedroom. A person can sleep on the couch and two others on our queen auto inflate air mattress.
