The house is by the Snaefellsnes National Park with its marked hiking trails and unique landscape. This area is a paradise for nature lovers. From your private wooden deck you can watch wildlife, sunsets and (if lucky) Aurora. Seals are regular visitors (seasonal) and different seabirds are at home here. This is no surprise as the house is facing the North Atlantic ocean and rich fishing grounds are in view. At the other side of the house you can see the magnificent glacier Snæfellsjokull.

Smàhraun, Hraunhálsi

Brand new cozy cottage 52 m2 with two bedrooms, set with in our farm Hraunháls on Snæfellsnes peninsula. Between Stykkishólmur (20km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km). The cottage has all basic necessities, stove with oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and freezer also washing machine, smart flat screen and free Wi-Fi. There’s a nice patio around the cottage where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and view, listen to birds singing in the summer and spot the northern lights in the winter.

In the summer you can watch colorful sunsets and in the wintertime witness the Northern lights in clear skies. I have made a big effort to make it as homey as possible and equipped it with most necessities and really comfortable beds. The house is located on the edge of Arnarstapi village, closely surrounded by the ocean, vast lava fields, mountains and the majestic Snæfellsjökull. Every season there has it´s own charm but the beauty and peacefulness is always present, pulling you out for various activities.

The 45m2 cottage is equipped with two bedrooms, a toilet with shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a view of the valley below Kirkjufell and a hot tub on the terrace.
