Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is important to access the house in the winter

Pálína Cottage Studio

Pálína Cottage Studio is a new accommodation in the Golden Circle, well locate. There are two apartments in the house, each 20m2. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is private. In winter you can see the northern lights. It is close to all the main natural gems of South Iceland: Þingvellir, Skálholt, Gullfoss, Geysir and many more Children, infants and toddlers are not allowed. We want our guests to have peace and quiet and to be able to enjoy their time in a peaceful environment.

Romance reigns in the wonderful nature here. We breed horses in Lerkiholt. Horses and foals are in the pasture with us and can be right next to the house. Please don't give food or tauch them ;-) It is close to two swimming pools, approx. 5-10 minutes. It is also close to golf. A unique place by a lake within the Golden Circle.

Our newly built second home is located in Útey 2, by the Laugarvatn Lake. Útey 2 used to be an old farm and is around 720 acres (320 hectares) and have been in the family for generations. Most of the south side of Lake Laugarvatn is part of the land so you can have complete privacy. You can take a long walks in private, go paddling in our double seated canoe, relax in the hottub with tens of km. of unobstructive view, watch the birdlife and even try your luck fishing for trout.

The cottage is located in a beautiful quiet place, with two bedrooms. Perfect for 4 persons. The view is stunning to mountains, glaciers and volcanoes. Eyjafjallajökull volcano (that erupted 2010) is in only 20 km distance and Fagradalsfjall volcano that is now erupting (mai 2021) is only in 100 km distance.. There are many orher interesting places to visit in the neighborhood. It also is a perfect place for northernlights watching because there is no light pollution there.

Vorsabær 2 er í 80 km fjarlægð frá Reykjavík og 30 km frá Selfossi. Orlofshúsið rúmar allt að 7 manns í gistingu og þar er eldhús með öllum helstu tækjum og tólum til eldamennsku og skjólgóð verönd með garðhúsgögnum og gasgrilli. Hestaferðir eru í boði fyrir litla hópa og hægt að skoða dýrin á bænum eftir samkomulagi. Gististaðurinn hentar ekki fyrir partýhald.
