The Quaint Wee - House with sea and mountain views

Truly relax and unwind at this peaceful shoreside accommodation with an ever changing stunning view. Ideally located for gentle strolls from the house to the local beach and to explore this Scottish Site of Scientific Interest. Perfect for twitcher and wildlife enthusiasts, you may even catch a glimpse of an otter and seals! This is also an ideal launch site for your own kayak/canoe/SUP to just paddle around. From here you can also explore the rest of the island and mainland at your leisure.

Heather Cottage

Heather Cottage is a cosy, yet spacious self catering home with fantastic views over Loch Portree and the iconic Storr pinnacle for a backdrop. Situated less than 10 minutes' drive from Portree in the centre of the island, the cottage provides the ideal base from which to explore Skye. The newly refurbished home has three comfortable bedrooms, two spacious lounge areas, a large bathroom with freestanding bath and fully fitted kitchen with dining area - the perfect place for a memorable visit!

Heatherfield house self catering cabin The Shack

The Shack is a cosy cabin for two that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Situated in Penifiler, a 10 minute drive from Portree, and close to the shore it has stunning views over Loch Portree. Centrally located on the island, it is an ideal spot to be based. It has a comfortable open plan living room with well equipped kitchen and double, en-suite bedroom. Outside there is a private seating area where, if the weather is behaving, you will be able to see the Old Man of Storr.

The Crofter's House, Isle of Skye

The Crofter's House is a traditional Scottish croft house that has been renovated to create a calm and peaceful retreat in the wild landscape of the Isle of Skye. Situated beside Camustianavaig Bay, the house enjoys a rural location, yet is only five miles from Portree. The house has been featured in a number of publications including Elle Decoration, Conde Nast Traveller, Time Out, and Homes & Interiors Scotland. NB: the five-mile road to Camustianavaig is a single track (tarmac) road.

Guest can enjoy a glorious walk down the path through the adjoining croft land to the Penifiler shore enjoying views across Portree Bay and spectacular Quiraing and Old Man of Storr.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

Opened in January 2020, the Gate Lodge is a charming octagon with plenty of original character. Warm and well-equipped, it has been completely renovated and sits within the grounds of a working conservation farm. Strictly No Smoking. Only a ten minute walk from Loch Bay Restaurant, the Stein Inn, Skyeskyns and Diver's Eye, the lodge is surrounded by nature and wildlife with stunning views. It offers the perfect, peaceful break. Lovely detached bungalow in the quiet village of Gedintailor with beautiful sea views towards the Isle of Raasay. The cottage is newly renovated with a cosy, modern feel and with a stove in the living room. The garden has a private seating area with firepit/BBQ at the front and a decked seating area at the back. Only a 1 minute walk to the shore, 10 minute walk to the beach, and a 15 minute drive to Portree.

The place, has everything you need to enjoy your stay. One minute walk to cafes, restaurants, bars, supermarket, harbour and the bus station. Excellent rating from previous visitors.
