The cottage is located on the river Amstel, only 15 minutes by car and 20 minutes by bike from the vibrant center of Amsterdam. The cottage overlooks meadows on all sides. The house is best of both worlds - it's a private summer house next to a small organic farm, but it's modern. Located at the river Amstel, follow it hiking, cycling or by car and you end up in the historic centre of Amsterdam. Great for families and groups of friends. Our house is ideal to visit Amsterdam from for a long weekend or holiday. It's located in the old centre of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, with shops and supermarket just down the road. Nice restaurants and terraces on the river are around the corner. Ouderkerk aan de Amstel has many nice cycling routes in the area. Amsterdam is reachable with public transport (30 minutes), bicycle (40 minutes) or by car (15 minutes).

Apartment for 1 or 2 persons on second floor with balcony on the southside (sun whole day!). The living room is combined with the kitchen/bar and the room has 2 large windows facing South, giving it a spacious feel with lots of natural light. Modern kitchen (w/ induction) and fully equiped as we both love to cook. The bedroom has a queensize bed. Bathroom has a walk-in rainshower.
