Close by activities include nearby Lake access and marinas around Mt. Ida, crystal digging, Forest access for hiking, biking, ATV riding and canoeing along the Caddo River at nearby Caddo Gap and Glenwood, among many other activities and amenities in the popular tourist areas including Hot Springs National Park.

Quiet retreat by Caddo lake with private boat ramp. Launch your own boat, or use kayaks. Filming of the movie produced by M. Night Shyamalan "Caddo Lake" was seen from the waterfront of Pelican Place. The patio is perfect for grilling dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Caddo Lake. The updated interior of the house has maintained its rustic charm; provides a complete kitchen, private bedroom & queen sleeper sofa in living room. Get a laugh seeing a recreated outhouse bathroom but with a modern toilet. Enjoy eating on a chuck wagon tabletop. Additionally, sit by an open firepit and make complimentary s'mores all while gazing at the galaxy of stars, watching the wildlife, and viewing our cattle during the day. Molly our gentle jersey may even let you pet her at the fenceline.

A peaceful, secluded Cabin In The Woods experience on the South Fork of the Caddo River. This 80+ acre property is all yours to explore alone with no other homes or cabins anywhere on the property. The property extends across both sides of the river with 1/3 mile of river frontage. Swim, kayak, fish, & relax. It's the perfect location for couples, honeymoons, anniversaries, or even escaping on your own for a private sabbatical. Pets are only allowed for couples without children. Fast WiFi!

Tropical Treehouse set in a ten acre Jungle Garden with a canal lagoon. Private mature forest park of 250 acres and five miles of nature trails. There are four lakes and the Treehouse overlooks Lake Winnamocka. The house is 35 feet in the air accessible by stairs but with a cargo lift for luggage and groceries. The bath is tile with heated floor and tile shower. There is a bidet, washer/dryer in the full bath. The kitchen is modern. There are 3 porches. Master bed and two loft bunks.

Nettles Nest is a rustic cabin nestled in the piney woods of northeast Texas in the small town of Redwater, just outside of Texarkana. It is located on a 5 acre lake. It's a great place to unplug. No Wifi. Fish (bring your own pole,etc.), swim, paddleboat, kayak, relax on the deck or under the pavilion. Good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families , and pets (2 maximum) No large groups. No parties.
