The house is located in one of the most central roads of the old town, 2 minutes walk from the Venetian Harbour. It has a view of the ongoing Archaeological excavation of the Minoan ruins and the old venetian houses of the old town. Our visitors will have the opportunity to take a walk in the harbour, wander in the old town alleys and get to know its monuments. Moreover, they can take their coffee and taste the amazing cretan cuisine in the numerous restaurants and cafés of the old harbour.

The Domicilechania "Venetian Residence" was built in the14th century and is known as the Venetian Rectors Palace. It was also used as the Treasury and the Archives of the Venetian administration. Overlooking the old harbor and the Venetian lighthouse its view is unique. Ideal for one or two couples or families with max. 3 children. The Venetian Residence is the ideal spot to explore the old city of Chania but also the countryside of the region. The nearest beach is 10 min. on foot.
