The cabin sits on a hill (not on the lake) about 35 ft from another home on 40 acres and has 105 ft of private lake frontage shared with my another unit. Wildlife along with flower gardens throughout the property. Black Mountain Recreational Area is 10 minutes away. Mackinaw, Petoskey, Ocqueoc Falls 45 minutes away. Restaurants 10 minutes away.

Nestled between the trees, you'll find the quietest private beach. You'll wake up to the most beautiful sunrises over the lake, with views throughout the house or on the beach itself. Hammond bay is the "sunrise secret," as the beach is private access only, with little to no rocks, and plenty safe for children. With over 4000 square feet, you and your guests will have plenty of space to sprawl out. All the amenities you'll need for meals are in the full kitchen. Enjoy!

Relax with the whole family at Shaginapi (resting place) overlooking Ocqueoc (crooked waters) Lake. Enjoy fishing on the 130 acre no-wake lake. A 14-foot row boat is included with rental. Canoe or kayak the lake and river to catch a glimpse of water fowl and wildlife in its natural habitat. Take pleasure in an evening of telling stories or singing songs around a bonfire. Fire wood is provided. Observe wildlife and birdwatch right on the premises.
