Welcome to the High Country Hobo Preserve. This hidden gem is nestled in the Cleveland National Forrest. Guest cabin has all amenities: wood burning fireplace, board games, fishing poles, bottle house, bbq, and gold pans for when the creek is flowing. An outdoor fire pit if winds are calm. It has old character, unique charm, and is close to old mining town, Julian. Kitchen has fridge, hot plate, grill, microwave, coffee maker- coffee tea provided. Pets welcome, has dog door, fenced yard.

Cactus and Stars is a desert modern duplex close to town. The Property has great views of the mountains and stars, as well as a fun and relaxing yard. The residential neighborhood is one block from Christmas Circle and the restaurants and shops along Palm Canyon Rd, and is proximate to the new library and other services. Welcome to our family petting zoo farm and horse ranch in Jamul! Our small ranch is in a quiet, beautiful valley with miles of trails right outside our gate. We horses, mini donkeys, goats, chickens and we sell fresh eggs, ask us! We are a 30 minute drive to the beaches, downtown San Diego, and most SD attractions. Locally we have a gas/convince/liquor store. Rancho San Diego is a 10 minute drive with Target, Grocery, Starbucks and many restaurants. We have hot water and WIFI.

Back Country Retreat

Back Country Retreat is nestled under oak trees and surrounded by a natural rock setting. You will be greeted with several flower gardens. The retreat has a lovely flagstone patio with outdoor gas firepit and custom cedar bar. Pine Valley has clear night skies with no light pollution. You will feel right at home in this quiet neighborhood with access to the Cleveland National Forest for hiking, biking or birding. Owners live on the same property, so you may see them.

You may see “Roady” the resident Roadrunner, a huge brown owl, or if you are a bird enthusiast, many unusual species stop by for an occasional drink at the watering hole. Quiet grounds.

The Desert View Tower

STAY OVERNIGHT AT THE DESERT VIEW TOWER! You will have The Tower all to yourselves from 5 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Sleep anywhere in the Tower on futons or couches (bedding available). You will have access to Boulder Park, and 99 acres of private desert property all day. Barbecue outside. You may also us the guest cabin with all household furnishings, toilet, shower, kitchen etc. Or, sleep under the stars.
