Quiet country setting only 3 miles from Downtown Huntsville, 4.5 miles from SHSU, 1 mile from Walker County Fair . Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

The Cottage at Jones Road Ranch

Enjoy the solitude and beauty of a stay at the Cottage at Jones Road Ranch overlooking grazing horses. Take a short walk through the Jones Road Ranch Tuscan Rosemary farm for a discounted wine tasting with our neighbors at Golden Oaks Micro Cellar. Relax on the front or back porch with a views of the ranch or if you prefer a more active stay, schedule a Jones Road Ranch tour, hike or bike in the local National Forest or tour the Bush Presidential Library in nearby College Station.

The Dairy

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Decommissioned in 1965, our family’s dairy barn still has a lot of life left in her! The home includes the original milking pit, which has been converted into a living room/extra sleeping space. The milk storage silo and transfer room has been converted to a kitchen/dining room that has everything you need for short or long term! Only 20 minutes from Huntsville and a short drive to Lake Livingston! More pics to come. Available 11/1.

Sam’s Cottage

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. Located just a short distance from the Huntsville square this prime location makes for easy travel for any occasion that brings you to town.

Local activities, Livingston Lake, the Sam Houston Wine Trail, and quaint downtown, are all within a few miles drive.
