E' stato interamente ristrutturato per renderlo accogliente e funzionale, ma conservando le caratteristiche originarie che lo rendono un luogo speciale. Accanto all'edificio scorre il rio che in passato azionava le macine, e che crea piccole cascate e vasche di acqua limpida e freschissima. Si trova a meno di 2 km dalla Via degli Dei, e dista 25' dal casello di Rioveggio (l'ultimo km è su strada sterrata).

Appartamento appena ristrutturato, con splendida vista sulla valle. La casa è ricavata dalla ristrutturazione di un vecchio “stavolo” carnico, una stalla dove riposavano gli animali e si faceva asciugare il fieno raccolto. Il Gufo Nero è un cottage adatto ad una vacanza rilassante da passare ammirando il panorama sulle Alpi carniche e sorseggiando un buon vino friulano, davanti al caminetto da cui fu salvato un gufo caduto per sbaglio e annerito dalla fuliggine.
