Calon y Bannau (The Heart of the Beacons)

Welcome to Calon y Bannau, situated in the small village of Pencelli (pronounced Pen-keth-li) in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Shepherd's Hut in Brecon Beacons

Escape to the Bannau Brychieniog / Brecon Beacons National Park and stay in our cosy shepherd's hut. The 'Bee Hive' hut is close to the village of Penderyn and next to Beili Helyg Farm. The hut has a double bed, kitchen & dining area with folding table, fridge & ice box, combi microwave oven, double induction hob and Belfast sink. There is a shower room with flushing toilet. Below the master bed is an alcove with a futon for a child to sleep comfortably. Decking, fire pit, BBQ, WiFi & TV.

Bridge House Sleeps 2 (self contained)

Bridge house. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons this refurbished traditional cottage is full of original features including oak beams and stone a fireplace. The cottage has 3 rooms for private use; living room (sofa bed with mattress), kitchen and bathroom, heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler. Freesat tv and DVD player. A few metres takes you to the nearest footpaths leading to beautiful hills, the Taff Trail or a pretty stream along a valley. Brecon mon canal a short walk.

Ysgubor Bach is a converted barn situated in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and approximately a 2 hour hike to Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in South Wales and Southern Britain. Bike Park Wales, built by mountain bike riders is on our doorstep and we are just 20 minutes by car from famous Waterfall Country. Zip World and Penderyn Whiskey are also well worth a visit. Ysgubor Bach is comfortable, has all modern amenities and is enhanced by many original features.

Coed Owen is one of the closest accommodations you will find to Pen Y Fan, the highest mountain in South Wales and Southern Britain. Bike Park Wales is on our doorstep and we are just 18 minutes drive from the famous Waterfall County. The Stable Loft is set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park between Merthyr Tydfil and Brecon. The property is on the Taff Trail Walking and Cycling route, close to Pen y Fan, The Brecon Mountain Railway and Bike Park Wales. The property sleeps two in the Kingsize bedroom. The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. The barn was extended and refurbished in the summer of 2020. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal.
