I would like to introduce to you a house belonged to my aunt “Omine”(pronounced oh-me-nay), which has just been beautifully renovated. My auntie was a noted “Shamisen” guitar player and she appeared in many movies and TV dramas. Now her home and its rooms, where she practiced her “Shamisen”, have been converted for a comfortable stay.

The Machiya Inn「Crimson」has been converted into the licensed accommodation, which can accommodate up to 4 people. We rent a house out to only one group at a time. This means that you have an entire house for yourselves. Perfectly comfortable for couples and best fitted for families or groups. It retains some classic Kyoto exteriors and interiors, western comforts like beds, kitchenette, dining table and chairs are also well furnished. 10 minutes from JR Enmmachi Station Katsura Club

The nearest station is 10 minutes walk from JR Enmachi Station, 1 minute walk from the Kyoto Municipal Bus Taishogun bus stop, located in Taishogun. Since it is a 100-year-old townhouse, the rooms themselves are aging and have been slightly renovated, but from the outside it looks like a traditional townhouse, but the inside has not been renovated like a hotel. Katsura Club is a traditional Kyoto townhouse that has not been renovated much and remains in its original condition.
