Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Set well back off the street, Headland is only one private little cottage, on its own, flanked with large lawn, garden and a couple of cute garden sheds. Circa 1860, Headland is one of Daylesford's originals--oozing authentic appeal, cosy and calming. On the edge of a forest The Gallery is simply stunning. Soak in the huge freestanding bath while watching your favourite TV show or movie. Relax by the log fire, enjoy a romantic dinner in the fully equipped kitchen or take a stroll through the forest sculpture trail. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway. You may find you don't want to leave but if you do there are over 80 nearby cellar doors to visit, amazing restaurants to dine at and beaches and trails to explore.

A cosy, curated cottage with a rustic vibe, Ode to the Orchard is surrounded by the Adelaide Hills’ finest wineries and sits high on 16 acres. It is one of the original stone homes of the area and enjoys stunning 360 degree views of picturesque Lenswood. There is no better place to relax: soak in the gorgeous claw-foot bath looking out to the stars, enjoy that glass of local red by the fire, or try out our apple crumble recipe in the vintage wood-fired Aga.
