This is the back door unit up the stairs. It's uber cool and is one of the Stone Houses found around Mt. Shasta. The house maintains the exterior historic charm of the original house, but the inside is freshly renovated, stylish, spacious, and fabulous! The unit offers privacy for groups that may want some separation as one bedroom and bathroom are downstairs and the living area and another bed/bath are upstairs. This unit is accessed from the back door, completely separate from the front unit.

The kitchenette is modest, with a hot plate, microwave and a toaster oven. Coffee and tea. Vaulted ceilings give the appearance of space, and the bathroom is very large. Heat/AC and sunny afternoons. Nestled among 200 trees including oak, pine, and cedar. Inside is an open layout with 3 queen bedrooms upstairs, wood burning stove and a kids suite downstairs w/bunk beds, games & TV. Outside there is a hammock, meditation chair, swing, tree house, and trampoline. Perfect peaceful setting for spiritual seekers with many areas to meditate on the property. There is a view of Mount Shasta from the back deck and up the hill. The hill is also great for sledding in the winter.

The Sugar Pine

Nestled in the forest, this new and beautiful 1 bedroom house offers a peaceful, safe and tranquil place to stay and relax. You will feel like you are in your own world, but the town of Mt. Shasta is only 3 miles away. It is also conveniently located close to Lake Siskiyou and Mount Shasta Ski resort. There are nearby hiking and biking trails. Whether you just want to relax, and/or get out and see the beautiful Mount Shasta area, the Sugar Pine is a great place to be!

It is a 4-minute drive from downtown, a quarter mile from the headwaters, and .2 miles walk to the Peace Garden.
