"Nordico Point" - Cozy Cabin on Mitchell Lake

Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

Accommodating up to six, it features two bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a private dock for fishing, swimming, boating, relaxing and complimentary canoe use. minutes from downtown Ely, guests enjoy both peaceful lakeside living and easy access to town. In winter, enjoy ice fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cozy fires, and stargazing, it's magical:)

Located in Ely, the entryway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Cabin is centrally located to all of the BWCA entry points. Direct access to Prospector Loop ATV Trail system, and Trezona Bike Trail System. Every stay of two nights or more comes with complimentary Kevlar Canoe of their choice and free routing services to BWCA points of interest. Located on the very edge of Ely, enjoy a north woods setting with smalltown convinces, restaurants, shops and attractions all within walking distance.

The apartment is the definition of cozy and quaint. This location allows for easy access to everything in town. Whether you are coming in and out for a Boundary Waters trip, a weekend getaway with your loved one, needing a change of scenery while working remotely or you'd like to have a cozy bed to slip into after taking the kids on a day hike. *Please note it is located upstairs above a business. *Guests must be able to check in on their own.

Our home is a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath, four season lake home with absolutely amazing lake views! This is a 2500 sq ft year-round home with open floor living area and lake views that will take your breath away! There is an electric sauna, an outdoor fire pit & a 3 season porch. Our dog friendly home sits on 12 acres of wooded land and we have 150 feet of rocky shoreline across the road. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Ely on Shagawa lake.
