Idyllic countryside house

An idyllic countryside retreat in an old Montenegro peasant stone house, surrounded by grapevines, pomegranates, quince and fig trees, and with a great view on the mountains. This is a perfect hideaway from city hustle and traffic noise. As a mountaineering guide and former diplomat, I will be happy to welcome visitors from all corners of our world, share memories of my old family house and history of Montenegro, assist them in planning and organizing their tours in our beautiful country.

15th century Ottoman house

The tiny house is simple and beautiful. We turned the strong walls of the Ottoman building 15th century into a unique dwelling. At your disposal is a room with a large bed, two terraces and a balcony with magnificent sea views. Additionally, there are common spaces: a large terrace with barbecue, kitchen, shower, toilet. Plus, the whole village built in the 14th century with 4 churches, 2 old schools, abandoned and beautiful houses and breathtaking views of forests, mountains and the sea.

Salty Village

Our Salty Cabin lies in the village of Zoganje (Zogaj), surrounded by an olive grove counting over three hundred trees. Located nearby are Salina salt pans, a salt factory-turned-bird park where both silence and sounds of nature such as birds chirp and frog “ribbit” can be experienced and enjoyed. Location is perfect for enjoying birdwatching and getting to know around half of the European bird species. Out of 500 species, around 250 can be seen flying over, or around, the Salty Cabin.

The appartment has been built new on the existing farmhouse where life cattle (Mountain Goats gaze at you when you enter or exit the appartment, Chickens, Cats and a Dog), surrounded by Olive Trees, Chi-pack, Dark and White Figues, Oranges & Tomatoes, vegetable garden, etc. etc.

Built in 2022, our cozy cabin comfortably welcomes 2–5 guests. The stunning Long Beach is only 1.5 km away, while the famous Salina birdwatching area is 5.5 km away. Markets and restaurants are just a 5-minute walk. Relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a peaceful and memorable getaway in our charming cabin.
