Some of the best UTV and snowmobiling trails along with backcountry snowmobiling in the U.P. are right in your backdoor. Fish for walleye, perch, pike, and bass on Lake Independence in the summer or winter!

Secluded small farm house nestled in among maple, apple and pine trees. Lots of parking for trailers and guests. Wood burning Sauna on property. Just a short walk down the hill is our Private rock beach On Lake Superior with a fire pit to get cozy and watch the sunset. The main cabin also has a fire pit for your enjoyment. You cannot beat the beautiful view of Lake Superior and the amazing sunsets. Not far from 2nd Sand Beach for swimming and picnics. Use this as home base for all the sightseeing our area has to offer. You will think of this 3 bedroom 2 bath house on the lake as your home away from home. Summer brings water sports, grilling and eating on the deck and enjoying sunsets over the lake. Winter months include accessing snowmobile trails from your front door, nearby downhill and cross country ski venues and snowshoeing. Curl up by a crackling fire at days end. Spring brings day trips to beautiful waterfalls. Fall brings hunting to mind. Plenty of wooded areas for bird and deer hunting.

Otter House

Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer. *Please note that the entry is on the basement level and the main living area is up a flight of stairs.
