Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Cwm Farm Cwtch, is a homely cottage set on a farm in Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil. You can enjoy the fantastic views and scenery, take a walk around our farm and interact with the animals (donkeys, chickens, dogs). Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cwtch is in a perfect location for a number of activities, e.g Brecon Mountain Railway, Bikepark Wales, Morlais Golf Course, River fishing and lots more. There are a number of pubs in the village that serve food and local beers.

This bright and modern old miners cottage is a self contained home which includes 3 bedrooms and a practical bathroom on the first floor. Meanwhile the ground floor contains a kitchen and a large living/dining area with lots of light. The garden includes a lock up area for 6 bikes, where padlocks can be added as well as a place to sit to have a drink and relax. WIFI is FREE! James' Place@Dowlais offers 7 individually and creatively styled self-catering studios. They are ideally placed for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, visiting Bike Park Wales, Zip World South or working away from home.
