Located 15-20 minutes from every major town in the County: Baileys Harbor, Egg Harbor, Sturgeon Bay, Fish Creek, and Sister Bay. Our space is brand new construction in 2024 finished with stained concrete floors, electric fireplace, upscale finishes, large back patio, & shared sauna.

The River House is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. In addition to The River House, there are two other cottages also on the property. The house is located directly on the Menominee River, and has a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and natural fireplace in an open concept space that is filled with natural light from a multitude of windows. Menominee is 50 miles north of the city of Green Bay on the bay of Green Bay. Door County is a 2-hour car ride and an hour boat ride across from Menominee. It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The property includes a 0.3 mile long interpretive nature trail explaining the natural environment and history.
